Walnut Creek Library Cooperating Collection

With support from the Walnut Creek Library Foundation, the Walnut Creek Library is now a Cooperating Collection of the Foundation Center.

Nonprofit organizations and other grantseekers may access  the links below from within the Walnut Creek Library only.

In the library or remotely, online tours of the Foundation Directory Online  will help you use this resource effectively. For example, to search for grants, click the Grants icon.

PROPOSAL WRITING BASICS WITH SAN FRANCISCO FOUNDATION CENTER

The workshop will take place on May 29th on the second floor of  the Walnut Creek Library 4:30-6pm.
 
 This workshop lead by Scott Ullman of San Francisco Foundation Center focuses on what content to include in a standard proposal as well as tips for strengthening content. Insights into what expectations funding sources have when proposals are reviewed will also be offered. The Foundation Center also offers a number of other workshops for nonprofit managers, including developing fundraising plans, budgeting and securing corporate partnerships. Preliminary Funding Research

Remote users will find useful information on the Foundation Center Homepage, including a Fund Finder Search box to locate contact information on foundations and their 990-PF's.

The Foundation Directory for specific types of funding  must be acccessed by using the links above within the Walnut Creek Library.
