The IRS is no longer sending forms in the mail and post offices no longer carry tax forms.
Most Contra Costa County Libraries receive basic California tax forms, but no federal forms.
Library patrons can use library computers to print state and federal tax forms. If you plan to file online using a library computer, you may wish to reserve a 1 hour computer.
Call Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., except state holidays.
Internal Revenue Services offices are open Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
When you call, you will reach a recorded business message with information about office hours, locations and services provided in that office. If face-to-face assistance is not a priority for you, you may also get help with IRS letters or resolve tax account issues by phone, toll free at 1-800-829-1040 (individuals) or 1-800-829-4933 (businesses).
