What is Bibliotherapy?

Bibliotherapy is the practice of reading to help us through difficult situations and feelings. In addition to non-fiction titles like those listed, individuals facing their own or their loved ones' mental health concerns may gain comfort and insight by reading fictional stories with characters and circumstances similar or related to their own. (Bibliotherapy is not intended as a substitute for therapy with trained professionals.)
